As of 8 a.m. yesterday, the elevation in Angat Dam in Bulacan was at 207.22 meters or down by 16 centimeters from the previous 207.38 meters.

MANILA, Philippines — The water level in seven dams in Luzon continued to decline amid high temperatures being experienced in the country.

As of 8 a.m. yesterday, the elevation in Angat Dam in Bulacan was at 207.22 meters or down by 16 centimeters from the previous 207.38 meters.

The figure is 4.78 meters below Angat’s normal high water level of 212 meters.

Meanwhile, the water level in Ipo Dam, also located in Bulacan, dropped by nine centimeters after it reached 100.77 meters from 100.86 meters previously.

Aside from Angat and Ipo, other dams that reported reduced water elevations were Ambuklao and Binga in Benguet, Pantabangan in Nueva Ecija, Magat in Isabela and Caliraya in Laguna.
