MRT-3 offers free rides today

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) is offering free rides to commuters today as part of the commemoration of Rizal Day.

Passengers can avail themselves of free train rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

MRT-3 general manager Federico Canar Jr. reminded commuters to observe COVID protocols such as wearing of face masks, not making phone calls as well as not eating or drinking while riding the train.

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 is also offering free rides today.
