MANILA, Philippines — A Navy officer died after he collapsed while jogging in Ternate, Cavite on Monday.
S/Sgt. Rosario Barranco was in the middle of an early morning road run at the Marine Corps Force Development Center in Barangay Sapang I when he fell to the ground, police said.
Barranco was pronounced dead on arrival at the Marine Base Gregorio Lim’s dispensary.
Police said Barranco’s body would be autopsied.
