P2.5 million shabu seized in Bulacan, Pampanga, Negros
MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents seized shabu with an estimated street value of P2.5 million in Negros Occidental, Bulacan and Pampanga on Wednesday.
Jomy Consular, 42, and Leosella Consular, 27, were apprehended in Barangay Camugao in Kabankalan City at around 3:30 p.m., Brig. Gen. Randy Peralta, director of the police Drug Enforcement Group, said.
The suspects reportedly yielded 170 grams of shabu worth P1.15 million.
Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Central Luzon police director, said Anthony Quiazon was apprehended in Barangay Duquit in Mabalacat City for possession of 95 grams of shabu worth P646,000.
Baccay said eight suspects yielded shabu worth P800,000 in a sting in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
In Cotabato City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said Karim Mamalangkay and Mastura Mamantal were arrested in Barangay Rosary Heights 10 after selling shabu worth P340,000 to undercover agents. – Ric Sapnu, John Unson
