128 barangays in Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas COVID-19 free
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 128 barangays in the cities of Caloocan, Malabon and Navotas have been declared free of COVID-19.
The local government of Caloocan said 118 barangays in the city did not register active cases of COVID-19 since Saturday.
According to the city health office, 29 barangays in District 1, 87 villages in District 2 and two more barangays in District 3 have no active cases of COVID-19.
Caloocan has recorded 72,548 COVID-19 cases with 70,665 recoveries, 1,699 deaths and 184 active cases since the pandemic started in March 2020.
In Malabon, seven villages were declared COVID-free as of Sunday. These are Barangays Acacia, Bayan-bayanan, Flores, Niugan, Panghulo, San Agustin and Tañong.
In Navotas City, Barangays Bagumbayan North, Bangkulasi, Navotas West and Tangos North have not posted active cases of COVID-19 as of Sunday.
