MALOLOS, Philippines — The Bulacan provincial government has increased its vaccination sites from 52 to 93.

Dr. Hjordis Marushka Celis, Bulacan Medical Center (BMC) director and provincial task force response cluster head, told The STAR in a text message that there are talks with private hospitals to also give booster shots.

Celis said intensive care unit and COVID ward utilization rate at the BMC was at 78 and 80 percent, respectively.

She said there are enough medical supplies as COVID patients do not require mechanical ventilators and medical grade oxygen.

The provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit reported 1,041 new COVID-19 cases with one death in Bulacan on Monday.
