3 dead in Bataan road mishap

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Three persons died while six were injured when an oil tanker hit two tricycles and crashed into a house in Barangay Baseco in Mariveles, Bataan on Tuesday.

Reports reaching the office of Col. Jonnas Amparo, Central Luzon police deputy director for operations, identified the fatalities as Renne Lansangan, 56, and Retchen Atencio, 31, passengers of one of the tricycles, and Eduardo Santos Jr., the driver of one of the tricycles.

The other tricycle driver, Cesar Villanueva, 59; oil tanker driver Joel Bonzato, 46; a vendor, a six-year-old girl and two occupants of the house were injured.
