Jose Rodel Clapano - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — At least 2,923 persons have applied as volunteers for Manila’s 24/7 vaccination drive during the two-week enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) that will start on Friday, Mayor Isko Moreno said yesterday.

He said another 110 Sangguniang Kabataan members “expressed willingness to be volunteers.”

Moreno announced on Monday that the city government will implement a 24/7 vaccination drive during the ECQ and is looking for health professionals to help administer COVID vaccines.

The city government is also looking for computer-literate college graduates to serve as encoders for Manila’s health department.
