3 nabbed for P2.5 million counterfeit medicine
MANILA, Philippines — Three men were arrested after they were caught transporting alleged counterfeit medicine worth P2.5 million in Manila on Friday.
Randy Diez, Marlon Villadoz, and Ferze Bullandy were riding an Isuzu Hino when they were flagged down after police caught the driver not wearing a seatbelt along Moriones street in Tondo.
Upon inspection, police confiscated boxes of Medicol Advance Softgel ibuprofen capsules worth P2.5 million.
They were arrested after they failed to present documents for the medicine, except for two delivery receipts for a certain Mr. David of Sucat and Seaking Commercial in Cavite.
