Bautista lost control of the bus as he felt chest pain prior to the accident, Cpl. Job Zalun said.

City police chief Col. Noel Flores said the Manila-bound bus rammed the steel barrier and concrete pipes being used in the construction of the Skyway at around 9 a.m.

The accident happened as travelers started returning to Metro Manila yesterday after the Undas break.
