American found dead in Mandaluyong

MANILA, Philippines — An American man was found dead at his condominium unit in Mandaluyong City on Saturday.

Police identified the fatality as James Robert Cummings, 57, of Barangay Hulo.

A police report said Cummings’ partner saw him lifeless at around 11 a.m.

The victim’s partner said she left the condominium for work. She was shocked when she found him slumped on the floor when she returned.

Probers said they have yet to determine if Cummings was hit by a blunt object.

His remains were brought to a funeral parlor for an autopsy, police said.
