3 drug suspects killed in Laguna, Nueva Ecija

MANILA, Philippines — Three alleged drug dealers were killed in police operations in Laguna and Nueva Ecija in the past two days.

Col. Eleazar Matta, Laguna police director, said Bernard Carnicel and Jonathan Belmonte drew their guns when they sensed they had sold shabu to police officers in Barangay Bubukal, Sta. Cruz and Macatad, Siniloan, respectively.

Belmonte’s alleged cohort Reymond Baldemora managed to escape.

In Nueva Ecija, Darwin Gamboa was allegedly killed in a shootout with anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Padilla, Caranglan.

Meanwhile, police said 119 marijuana bricks with an estimated value of P24 million were seized from Albert Abogadie, Don Ragracias and Mary Rose dela Peñas in Barangay Salitran 3, Dasmariñas, Cavite on Tuesday. – Ric Sapnu, Raymund Catindig
