Motorcycle rider dies in crash with tricycle in Parañaque City

MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider died and four others were injured during a collision with a tricycle in Parañaque City on Sunday night.

Mark Jesus Sari, 23, suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Las Piñas District Hospital.

Tricycle driver Roderick dela Peña Millo and his three passengers were taken to the Ospital ng Parañaque for treatment.

Traffic investigators said the tricycle was traveling along Dr. A. Santos Avenue in Barangay San Dionisio when it crashed into the motorcycle at around 8:15 p.m.

Sari was thrown off the motorcycle due to the impact.

Charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and physical injuries will be filed against Millo, police said.
