3 men arrested in Quezon City with P300,000 shabu
MANILA, Philippines — Three men were apprehended by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for allegedly selling P340,000 worth of shabu in Quezon City on Tuesday.
Director Joel Plaza, who heads the PDEA National Capital Region office, said the suspects have been pushing drugs for about three months based on their surveillance.
Brazil Paner, 40; Francisco Refugia, 40, and Edgardo Sudario, 54, all of Marikina City, were nabbed after they allegedly sold shabu to a PDEA agent who posed as a buyer in Barangay Phil-Am at past 4 p.m.
Police said the suspects yielded around 50 grams of shabu.
Charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act have been filed against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
