2 models yield P850,000 worth of party drugs

MANILA, Philippines — An estimated P850,000 worth of party drugs were seized from two part-time models and an events organizer in Quezon City yesterday. 

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives seized 100 ecstasy tablets, 750 milliliters of liquid ecstasy, 20 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, a gram of cocaine and drug paraphernalia from models Billy Joe Kakilala and Ronnie Toribio and events organizer Abby Forteza during a sting at a condominium on Tomas Morato street at around 11 a.m.

PDEA spokesperson Derrick Carreon said the three allegedly sold the drugs to their friends and clients at parties and clubs in Quezon City. He added they are also investigating if the three had celebrity clients.
