Chinese tourist drowns in Boracay

ILOILO CITY, Philippines — A Chinese tourist drowned in Boracay on Wednesday.
Initial investigation showed that Liu Ran, 23, was seen catching his breath while snorkeling shortly before his body was found floating in the water in Barangay Balabag.
Superintendent Antonio Dizon, Malay police chief, said the companions of the victim believed that the tourist suffered a heart attack.
Last Friday, South Korean tourist Jeyoung Kim, 31, drowned while swimming in Station 3 in Barangay Manoc-Manoc also in Boracay.
