CAMP VICENTE LIM, Philippines — Four drug suspects were killed and 23 others were arrested in anti-drug operations in Cavite on Friday.

Police said Ferdinand Pangilinan, alias BJ, shot it out with anti-narcotics agents in a sting in Barangay 48A, Cavite City. He died on the way to the Bautista Hospital.

In Bacoor, Venencio Banatayo, Felimon Jun Roxas and  an unidentified man reportedly fired at police officers serving search warrants for illegal drugs at their residences in Barangay Talaba 2.

In Camarines Sur, Jose Legaspi, chairman of Barangay Peñafrancia in Del Gallego town, was wounded in an alleged shootout with police officers in a drug bust yesterday.
