3 Cavite inmates die

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Three inmates died after they complained of chest pains and difficulty of breathing in Cavite on Friday.

On the same day, four bodies were found in separate areas in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon).

Arnel Santos, Arnel Vequila and Cesar Macuha reportedly died as they were being rushed to different hospitals.

Santos was detained at the Bacoor police detention cell while Vequila and Macuha were in the custody of the Imus police.

The inmates were facing drug charges.

Meanwhile, the bodies were found in General Trias, Cavite; Lipa City, Batangas; Rodriquez, Rizal and Candelaria, Quezon.

One of the four was identified as Geronimo Laloma, who was found in a vacant lot in Barangay Masakot, Candelaria.

Police said the three other bodies bore gunshot wounds. One of them was said to be a drug trafficker.
