Quake shakes Negros Oriental

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude-3.4 earthquake shook Negros Oriental yesterday, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake’s epicenter was located some 17 kilometers northwest of Bais City.
The quake, which occurred at 1:01 p.m., was felt at Intensity 3 in Tanjay City and Mabinay town, and Intensity 2 in Bais City.
No injury or damage to property was reported from the quake, Phivolcs said.
