Boy, 11, commits suicide

ILOILO CITY  , Philippines  —  An 11-year-old boy reportedly killed himself in Leganes, Iloilo on Tuesday.

Identified only as Toto, the Grade 6 pupil of the Leganes Elementary School was found by his sister hanging from the ceiling of his room with a rope looped around his neck at their house in Barangay Cari.

Prior to the incident, Toto reportedly skipped his afternoon class.

Probers are looking into the possibility that the boy killed himself because he was bullied at school.
