Boy, 13, killed in ‘suicide game’

ILOILO CITY, Philippines – A 13-year-old boy died after he accidentally strangled himself at his house in Barangay Nabitasan Leganes, Iloilo on Monday.

The victim was reportedly playing a game in which he pretended to kill himself by hanging when the accident occurred.

The Grade 6 student at the Bungsuan Elementary School was pronounced dead on arrival in a health center.

The family of the victim said there is no need for an autopsy.
