Index crimes are offenses committed against persons and property.
Silo said murder, homicide, physical injury and rape are crimes against persons. Robbery, theft, carjacking and cattle rustling are against property.
The provincial police recorded 81 crimes against persons from January to March this year, down from 95 in the same period last year.
