2 brods found dead

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Two brothers were found dead with gunshot wounds in their heads and bodies in Talisay, Batangas on Friday afternoon.

Nicolas Mangubat, 47, and his brother Cristobal, 39, a farmer, were found by residents at a grassy portion of Barangay Sampaloc at around 12:30 p.m.

Investigators recovered 21 bullet shells for a .45 caliber pistol.

Residents told police they heard gunshots coming from nearby Sampaloc Elementary School.

Police believe the victims were summarily executed.
