Village watchman nabbed for drugs

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines  – Police arrested a 27-year-old village watchman following a raid on his house that resulted in the seizure of 13 plastic sachets said to contain shabu in Alicia town in Isabela Saturday.

Jalil Macadatu was included in the police watchlist of suspected drug traffickers operating in the southern part of the province, according to provincial police director Senior Superintendent Amorsolo dela Cruz.

Aside from drugs, the raiding team recovered drug paraphernalia from the suspect’s house in Barangay Calaocan.
