Cotabato folk bewail infra projects' delays

COTABATO CITY, Philippines  – This city’s vice mayor has urged the central office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to investigate the non-completion of major road projects in barangays here by supposedly big contractors from Luzon.

Catholic radio station dxMS has been flooded with complaints about unfinished road and bridge projects in Barangays Poblacion 1 and 3, Matampay and Kalangangan.

“The contractors from faraway places seem interested only in receiving initial releases for ‘mobilization’ purposes. There are very apparent slippages now in the implementation of these long-delayed projects,” Vice Mayor Muslimin Sema told dxMS.
