Amok stabs 3 kin, then self

MANAOAG, Pangasinan, Philippines – A mentally ill man ran amuck and stabbed three relatives, including a 78-year-old aunt, and then stabbed himself in Barangay Babasit here Saturday afternoon.

The suspect, Nelson Dacanay, 44, first attacked his aunt Alejandra Mangonon, then chased Gloria Paburian, 51, and Eric Naoe, 33. He later returned home and stabbed himself, too.

Dacanay and his victims were all in stable condition at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City as of press time.
