Estrada fanatics desperate to salvage tailspinning bid

People Power Coalition spokesman Dodi Limcaoco today asked Estrada’s rabid fanatics in the opposition to stop concocting wild stories designed to mitigate the impact of their candidates’ disintegrating campaign.

Limcaoco made the statement as he categorically denied allegations made by Estrada’s disgraced legal adviser turned Puwersa ng Masa spokesman Jose Crispin "Boying" Remulla that the Arroyo administration is planning to rehire the surveying firm, Societe Generale de Surveillance, in consideration of an P800 million lobby fund which he further claimed was channeled to the campaign kitty of the PPC.

"It’s a canard. The PPC has not received any lobby money. It’s obviously an act of desperation on the part of the Puwersa ng Masa to soften the impact of the impending wholesale defeat of Estrada’s minions in the May 14 elections," he said.

"We have it on good authority that there are no plans whatsoever to bring back the SGS so what is Atty. Remulla talking about?" Limcaoco asked.
