5 day rule sa pagre-release ng dokumento, utos ng LTO sa car dealers
MANILA, Philippines — Ipinag-utos ni LTO chief Vigor Mendoza sa mga car dealers na sundin ang 5-day rule sa paglalabas ng mga dokumento sa mga nakabili sa kanila ng mga sasakyan.
Ito ayon kay Mendoza ay upang maisyuhan agad ng LTO ng bagong plaka ng sasakyan ang motorista sa layong maiwasan ang pagkakaroon ng backlog sa mga car plates.
Dulot umano ng sobrang tagal na pagsa- submit sa LTO ng mga car dealers ng mga dokumento ng sasakyan ay natatagalan nang husto ang pagkakaroon ng car plates ang mga sasakyan.
Una nang nagpalabas ang LTO ng guidelines para sa lahat ng Accredited Manufacturers, Importers, Assemblers, Dealers and Other Entities (MAIRDOEs) para sa mabilis at epesyenteng dustribusyon ng Official Receipt/Certificate of Registration (OR/CR), license plates at Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) ng mga bagong bili na mga sasakyan.
“We already simplified the entire process in accordance with the LTO Citizen’s Charter in order to address the numerous complaints about the delay in the release of the documents and license plates,” sabi ni Mendoza.
Pinagsusumite rin ni Mendoza ang lahat ng MAIRDOEs ng bi-monthly report sa LTO bilang bahagi ng monitoring process ng ahensiya para dito.
Binalaan pa ni Mendoza ang mga ito na may karampatang parusa at multa ang mga hindi susunod sa naturang patakaran.
“Car dealers must release the OR/CR and the license plates within the prescribed time by the LTO. Our Regional Directors down to the District Office heads must ensure the compliance of the dealers,” sabi pa ni Mendoza.
