Woman found dead in Caloocan; drugs eyed

MANILA, Philippines -  A woman believed to be a victim of summary execution was found dead in Caloocan City at dawn yesterday.

Probers are looking into illegal drugs as a possible motive for the killing.

Leslie Enriquez, 47, identified the body as that of her daughter, Khei Ann.

Enriquez said Khei Ann had been involved in drugs.

Members of the Police Community Precinct 5 said they found Khei Ann’s body at the corner of Everlasting and Doña Aurora streets at around 2 a.m.

 Chief Inspector Liza Rillo, scene of the crime operatives head, said Khei Ann bore a gunshot to the head.
