Kinaladkad na MMDA enforcer pumanaw na
MANILA, Philippines – Sumakabilang buhay na ngayong Martes ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) traffic constable na kinaladkad ng isang driver sa lungsod ng Quezon.
Inihayag ng MMDA ang pagkamatay ni Sonny Acosta matapos ma-comatose ng ilang araw sa ospital.
Si Acosta ang kinaladkad ni Isuzu Sportivo driver Mark Ian Libunao matapos lumabag sa batas trapiko sa Cubao, Quezon City.

Ayon sa mga ulat, matapos parahin ni Acosta si Libunao ay inipit ng driver ang braso ng traffic enforcer sa bintana bago humarurot ng takbo.
"We call upon other witnesses to appear and support the quest for justice amidst alleged attempts to mislead the path of the case," pahayag ni MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino.
"This should be the last case of this nature. Igalang po natin ang bawat isa. Igalang po natin ang batas."
Nasampahan na ng kasong reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries at driving with an expired driver’s license si Libunao.
