MANILA, Philippines - Two robbers escaped empty-handed following a robbery attempt at a canteen in Quezon City Tuesday afternoon.
One of the suspects lost his cell phone when he accidentally dropped it near the canteen in Barangay Sikatuna Village, Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said.
Pagdilao said a bystander picked up the mobile phone as the suspects fled on a motorcycle.
Police said one of the robbers posed as a customer during the incident at around 4 p.m.
