MANILA, Philippines - Classes are suspended in public and private schools in 16 barangays in Valenzuela today due to floods spawned by Typhoon Mario, according to the city government.
In an advisory on its official Twitter account, the city government said there would be no classes in daycare, pre-school, elementary and high school in Barangays Wawang Pulo, Balangkas, Parancillo Villa, Palasan, Arkong Bato, Pulo, Poblacion, Mabolo and Coloong.
Also included are educational institutions in Barangays Isla, Tagalag, Bisig, Malanday, Pasolo, Rincon, and Dalandanan.
