GMA's biometric registration recalled

MANILA, Philippines - Pasay City Judge Jesus Mupas yesterday recalled an order directing the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to conduct the voter’s biometric registration of Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) in Quezon City.

The court granted the motion for reconsideration filed by Comelec prosecutors on an earlier court order allowing Arroyo to have her biometric registration at VMMC in preparation for her filing of candidacy in the May 2013 midterm elections.
