Alleged thief killed in shooting
CEBU, Philippines – Meanwhile, an alleged theft was killed inside their house on Christmas Eve in Sitio Kalmar, Barangay Lawaan I, Talisay City.
Ramil Villasan, 38, resident of said place, sustained gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
Ater said the victim, together with his son, was in their house when two unidentified suspects barged inside.
Without any provocation, the suspects reportedly just shot Villasan. The perpetrators fled, leaving the victim bathed in his own blood.
The victim was rushed to Talisay City District Hospital but the attending physician declared him dead on arrival.
Police recovered four empty shells and one deformed slug in the crime scene.
Ater said the victim has been a known theft in their place. They are conducting follow-up operation to identify the suspects. (FREEMAN)
