MANILA, Philippines –  Handheld low-light shooting at slower shutter speeds is now possible, thanks to the newest innovation of Sony.

Sony Philippines released on Thursday its latest in the a7 series of interchangeble-lens camera, the a7 II (ILCE-7M2). The world's first full-frame camera with optical 5-axis image stabilization (IS)

“The arrival of a7 II marks Sony's commitment towards continuous innovation,” said Nobuyoshi Otake, president and managing director of Sony Philippines.

“With the new a7 II, we carry on the traditions of the a7 series of outstanding image quality and compact sized cameras that set new standards for professionals and enthusiasts around the world, he added.”

Sony brags its 5-axis IS that detects and corrects camera shake for photo and video including angular shake (pitch and yaw), shift shake (along the X and Y axes) and rotational shake (roll).
