MANILA, Philippines - For 135 years now, Lancel has been the premier name in handbags and luggage. Recently, it launched its 2012-2013 Fall/Winter collection. The collection features two new vintage series: La Charmeuse, which is inspired by the soft, curvy female figures of the 18th century; and La Galante, which brings back the vintage look of 1974.
Xavier Le Borgne, Lancel Paris head of brand retail, graced the event with Philippines distributor Luxury Riviera Retailers Corp. head Aileesa Lim.
The young Le Borgne willingly chatted with the press and discussed how the craftsmanship of Lancel is developed and how it is different from other brands.
To experience its innovative designs, three ladies went home with Lancel bags: Ingrid Chua-Go, Sarah Santiago and Camyl Besinga. Stylist and model Liz Uy was also spotted sporting the latest Dali collection of Lancel.
