Discovering the story of Bukidnon

“Photography has the capacity to provide images of man and his environment that are both works of art and moments in history.”

The idea of writing a book about the province of Bukidnon was conceptualized almost five years ago by indefatigable Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri during his Manobo wedding to his lovely wife Audrey. Recently, the senator proudly launched his book titled Bukidnon: The Philippine Frontier at the NBC Tent. Zubiri worked with ace photographer Neal Oshima and brilliant writer Apa Ongpin to produce the breathtaking 185-page coffee table book full of spellbinding photographs and a collection of narratives, which, put together, tells a beautiful story that captures the unique heritage and spirit of Bukidnon. Family, friends as well as well-known personalities from the social, business, government and diplomatic circles were on hand to lend their support to the senator.

Congratulations and more power!
