Walang Pasok: Class suspensions for July 9 due to Typhoon Inday

MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units have suspended classes for Thursday, July 9, as Typhoon Inday (international name: Bavi) and the enhanced southwest monsoon continue to affect parts of the country.
As of 5 a.m. Thursday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Inday had weakened into a typhoon but continues to threaten Northern Luzon.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 remains in effect over several areas as the cyclone moves west-northwestward over the Philippine Sea.

- Bulacan
- San Jose del Monte City – No face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private
MIMAROPA
- Palawan
- Culion – All levels, public and private, including school personnel

- Barbaza – All levels, public and private (July 8 afternoon to July 10)
Region XI
- Negros Island Region
- Negros Occidental
- Bago City – Kindergarten to Senior High School
- Binalbagan – All levels, public and private (July 9 and 10)
- Don Salvador Benedicto – All levels, public and private
- Himamaylan City – All levels, public and private
- La Carlota City – No face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private
- Negros Oriental – All levels, public and private
BARMM
