Budget palit ng boto sa impeachment - Pulong

MANILA, Philippines — Bina-blackmail umano ng Malacañang ang mga Kongresista na tatanggalan ng budget ang mga distrito kapag hindi bumoto ng pabor sa impeachment ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ito ang mariing akusasyon ni Davao City 1st District Pulong Duterte na sinabi pang nagtatawag na umano ang mga kinatawan ng Palasyo sa mga kongresista at kanilang mga Chief of Staff na suportahan ang impeachment laban kay VP Sara.

“The pressure is being applied through threats tied to the national budget. Lawmakers who refuse to support the impeachment could face cuts in their allocations under the General Appropriations Act (GAA), including funding for key local projects such as irrigation, schools, bridges, roads, and social services,” ayon kay Pulong.

Sinagot naman ni House Committee on Justice Chairperson Gerville Luistro na ebidensya at hindi impluwensiya ang kanilang naging batayan sa impeachment laban kay VP Duterte.

“In as far as I am concerned I beg to disagree with that. Wala po akong na-encounter na tumatawag na sinuman maging sa akin o sa aking chief of staff concerning the support to this impeachment process,” pahayag ni Luistro.

“And I wish to add that in my capacity as chair, we cannot stand for either party. We stood for the process,” punto pa ng lady solon.
