7 Philippine hotels, resorts join Michelin list

MANILA, Philippines — Seven luxury hotels and resorts in the Philippines have been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide’s recommendations, according to the Department of Tourism (DOT).
City of Dreams-Nobu Hotel Manila, Grand Hyatt Manila and The Westin Manila, as well as Piece Lio El Nido and The Funny Lion El Nido in Palawan, Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and The Lind Boracay joined the list.
Twenty luxury hotels and resorts from the Philippines are featured on the Michelin Guide website at present.
“The Michelin Guide website serves as a trusted global reference for discerning travelers in selecting world-class hotels and restaurants,” the DOT said.
The Michelin Guide started featuring luxury properties in the Philippines in October 2024.
The DOT is preparing for the Michelin Guide’s search for top-rated dishes, dining spots and chefs from Manila, Pampanga, Cavite and Cebu, which would culminate in 2026.
