2,390 pass licensure exam for pharmacists

MANILA, Philippines — The country has more than 2,000 new pharmacists, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.

The PRC reported that 2,390 out of 3,828 examinees passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination held earlier this month.

Ritch Joshua Villadarez from the University of the Immaculate Conception in Davao City topped the examination with a grade of 92.65 percent

University of Santo Tomas (UST) graduates Honey Lynn Isip and Reign Walther Mathew Cirineo placed second and third with grades of 92.55 percent and 92.20 percent, respectively.

Jaina Nicole Quiambao from Our Lady of Fatima University-Pampanga ranked fourth with a grade of 92.18 percent, followed by Maurice Keshia Macatangay from Saint Louis University in fifth place with a score of 92.15 percent.

Obtaining a grade of 92.13 percent in sixth place is another UST graduate, Alyanna Pearl Alterado, while San Pedro College-Davao graduate Joman Salubre placed seventh with a grade of 92 percent.

UST graduates Rendzborg Bautista and Shane Audrey Lim placed eighth and ninth with scores of 91.88 percent 91.83 percent, respectively.

Tenth placer is Adamson University’s Trisha Mae Malsada, with a grade of 91.63 percent.

The PRC said successful examinees should personally register and sign in to the Roster of Registered Professionals.
