Diesel prices up this week

MANILA, Philippines — Only diesel prices have been raised after mixed trading in the international oil market last week.

Oil firms this week implemented a P0.40 per liter hike on diesel and a P0.55 per liter reduction on kerosene. No price change was implemented on gasoline products.

This is the second consecutive week diesel prices were raised.

Flying V, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. implemented price adjustments on diesel and kerosene starting 6 a.m.

Eastern Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. and PTT Philippines Corp. increased the price of diesel products effective 6 a.m.

Petron Corp., Total Philippines Corp. and UniOil Petroleum Philippines Inc. have yet to announce their respective advisories as of press time.
