13 SAF troopers discharged from hospital

MANILA, Philippines - Thirteen of the 15 Special Action Force (SAF) police commandos wounded during the Mamasapano operations last January 25 were discharged on Friday from the Philippine National Police General Hospital in Camp Crame.

PNP spokesperson Chief Superintendent Generoso Cerbo Jr. said that the SAF patients underwent final debriefing before they were released from the hospital.

"Kanina nagkaroon ng final debriefing...afterwards, they be released ngayon din," Cerbo said. 

Cerbo said the remaining two SAF troopers will remain at the hospital for further treatment.
