MANILA, Philippines — British singer-songwriter Calum Scott surprised Filipino fans when he gave a surprise public performance with a karaoke machine.
The "Britain's Got Talent" alumnus dropped by a mall in Taguig City with a full karaoke set where he performed his hit song "You Are The Reason."
During the chorus, Calum extended the microphone to dozens of fans around him who continued singing for him.
The singer even teased bystanders by switching up the lyrics to "You are my reason."
Calum, along with local folk-pop band Ben&Ben, are the special guests for Ed Sheeran's upcoming concert in SMDC Festival Grounds on March 9.
He last visited the Philippines in 2022 for his "Bridges" Asia tour, which came four years after his first Manila stop.
Coincidentally, this will be Ed's third time performing live in the Philippines as well after previously having shows in 2015 and 2018.
