MANILA, Philippines — TV5 officially unveiled Star Worx, the network’s talent management arm, that handles a new batch of stars including Aiko Melendez's daughter.

Formerly known as MediaQuest Artist Agency, the rebranded Star Worx is handled by Johnny Manahan — famously known in the industry as Mr. M. Manahan has over two decades in honing upcoming talents starting from ABS-CBN's Star Magic and his brief stint at GMA-7's Sparkle.

According to Manahan, the launch is not just about a name change; it is about the debut of 16 new talents "ready to set the airwaves on fire."

Aiko's daughter, Marthena Jickain, is among the newly launched stars of the network. Aiko sang praises for her daughter who has chosen to follow in her footsteps. Marthena is her daughter with ex-husband, former model and actor Martin Jickain.

"Watching her grow, discover her passion, and step into this new chapter reminds me that every sacrifice, every prayer, and every sleepless night as a mother is all worth it. Marthena, always stay grounded, kind, respectful, and true to yourself. The entertainment industry may not always be easy, but I know you have the heart, strength, and talent to shine in your own beautiful way," Aiko wrote on Instagram.

Apart from Marthena, the other Star Worx talents are Adam Buck, Amo Wilding, Chan Martin, Nico Matugas, Patrick Ballesteros, Spencer Capistrano, Wayne Leonard, Carmela Lorzano, Celyn David, Kaitlyn King, Keisha Serna, Nathalie Apollo, Rahil Gatali, Selina Griffin, and Steph Razon.

Since January 2026, these young hopefuls have been immersed in an intensive bootcamp.

They underwent choreography sessions and vocal mastery to nuanced acting workshops and perfecting their Filipino fluency.

"We weren’t just on the lookout for performers; we are cultivating icons," Manahan said. "These 16 artists have the discipline, the heart, and that indefinable 'X-factor' that the Filipino audience deserves."

These up-and-coming stars are eyed to dominate TV5's primetime projects and shows.
