Viva One staged “The Next Fan Takeover: Vivarkada Concert” last weekend at the New Frontier Theater, bringing together its brightest stars for a night packed with high-energy performances, interactive fan games, kilig moments and major announcements that left audiences buzzing with excitement.

The show opened with a vibrant production number led by P-pop groups GAT and RAYA, alongside Viva Entertainment artists, performing crowd-favorites Manila and Bongga Ka Day.

The cast of “My Husband Is a Mafia Boss” followed a fun and lively dance performance to RAYA’s Get Me, featuring  its female lead star Rhen Escaño, along with other castmates Sara Joe, Icee Ejercito, Aaliyah Coco, Frost Sandoval, Kyosu Guinto, Jaime Yllana, Dann Aquino, Maru Delgado and PJ Rosario. Leading man Joseph Marco made a surprise entrance toward the end of the number.

Fans were then treated to interactive segments, including a puppet charades game where cast members Frost, Sara, Kyosu, Jaime and Icee used fans as “puppets” to act out words.

Laughter filled the venue once more during the “best hug” challenge, where Joseph personally chose the most memorable embrace from participating fans.

Rhen and Joseph later slowed things down with a heartfelt duet of Star Song by Rob Deniel, showcasing their undeniable chemistry.

The stage turned dark and fierce as the cast of “Hell University” delivered a powerful masked dance performance. They were Zeke Polina, Aubrey Caraan, Lance Carr, Andre Yllana, Jastine Lim, Jac Abellana, Gabbi Ejercito, Derick Ong, Jemima Rivera and Keagan De Jesus with their intense choreography.

Keeping the crowd engaged, the cast played “The Boat is Sinking,” reimagined as “It’s a Bloody Night,” followed by a thrilling variation of Trip to Jerusalem, where fans scrambled to hug the remaining “Hell U” boys as one member was eliminated each round.

Aubrey and Lance then delivered a romantic duet of Sinta, before the audience was given a glimpse of their upcoming 2026 supernatural horror film “Rosario,” directed by Roni Benaid and set for release on April 22.

The momentum continued as Jayda Avanzado took the stage for “Project Loki,” performing Babala with co-stars Marco Gallo, Yumi Garcia, Martin Venegas, Kurt Delos Reyes, Ashley Diaz and Michael Keith.

Fans joined in the fun through “Guess Who’s the Criminal,” with Dylan Menor, who plays the lead character Loki, appearing on the LED screen as the game master, followed by the suspense-filled “Pass the Teddy Bear” game using the iconic Theodore prop. Jayda later reunited with Dylan virtually for a duet of Sigurado, with Dylan appearing onscreen.

Midway through the show, the Viva One stars came together for a special production. Aubrey Caraan, Bea Binene, Angela Muji, Jayda Avanzado, Nicole Omillo, Rhen Escaño and Ashley Diaz performed Day and Night by Alamat, while Lance Carr, Wilbert Ross, Rabin Angeles, Marco Gallo, Jairus Aquino, Zeke Polina and Andre Yllana hyped the crowd with Wag Ka Nang Humirit.

Excitement surged further with the announcement of Viva’s newest reality search, “VIVA’s Next Big Star,” set to premiere on May 29 on Viva One, promising fresh faces, raw talent and unforgettable onscreen moments.

The cast of “Dating Alys Perez” then took over the stage with a lively performance of Tala. Rabin Angeles, Angela Muji, Ethan David, Rafa Victorino and Mico Chua kept the energy high with games such as a back-to-back balloon relay and the challenging “Lava Walk.”

Angela captivated the audience with her performances of Misteryoso and Alam Niya Ba, alongside Ethan David and Rabin Angeles. She then energized the crowd further as she declared, “We will welcome you to the new era of RabGel,” followed by the announcement of the RabGel Anthology, set to premiere on May 15.

A more emotional moment unfolded during the “Our Yesterday’s Escape” segment, as Jairus Aquino and Nicole Omillo performed Sandali. Jairus was seen in tears onstage as he lightened the mood by joking, “Naisip ko yung 4 p.m. eh,” a reference from the story’s plot, which drew both laughter and cheers from fans.

A telepathy game paired each cast member with a fan, challenging them to match actions based on words tied to OYE and the “University Series.”

The audience was shown the official teaser with the set premiere on July 24. Nicole shared, “Yun yung pinaghirapan namin for all of you guys,” while Jairus added, “Itong libro ang sinisigurado namin magpapaiyak sa inyong lahat.”

Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene of “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow” then charmed the audience with their duet of Panaginip. The pair engaged fans in playful games, including “WilBea vs. Wilbears” and a song-guessing challenge.

Their performance of Ikaw ang Aking Musika ended with Wilbert planting a gentle forehead kiss on Bea.

After the production number, Wilbert announced his “WRten” first major concert and 10th anniversary celebration set on July 25 at the New Frontier Theater. Tickets go on sale on April 30 via TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets.

WilBea also surprised fans with news of their first film together. They are set to star in the Philippine adaptation of the 2013 Thai horror-comedy hit “Pee Mak,” originally led by Thai superstars Mario Maurer and Davika Hoorne.

“Maraming maraming salamat sa suporta niyo mga ka-Vivarkadas. Abangan niyo po ang ‘Pee Mak’ malapit na po yan!” Wilbert said.

“From the very bottom of our hearts, from all the artists here today, this has been ‘Viva One Next Fan Takeover,’” Bea added.

Closing the night on a high note, the entire cast returned to the stage for a grand finale performance featuring a mashup of Luzviminda and Kembot, led by GAT and RAYA. The theater erupted in cheers as all the stars danced together, marking a fitting end to an unforgettable night.

To end the night, fans were given one last surprise as Viva One scheduled another “Next Fan Takeover The Repeat” happening on June 6, leaving audiences in excited anticipation for their appearance on stage.
