After Coachella, BINI sets sights on global tour, more international gigs

Following successful performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026, BINI is now setting its sights on more international stages and a world tour lined up in the coming months.
With their first-time participation at the US-based festival ending on a high note, the “Nation’s Girl Group,” made up of Jhoanna, Colet, Mikha, Aiah, Gwen, Maloi, Stacey and Sheena, appears to be carrying the momentum of their “historic” appearance into a new phase of their career.
Following Coachella, the group is reportedly scheduled to appear at the GRAMMY Museum’s “Global Spin Live” on April 21 and at Billboard Women in Music on April 29 to accept the Global Force Award.
They are also gearing up for their “Signals” world tour, which will hit Manila and Cebu, as well as key stops abroad such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Singapore.
For ABS-CBN head of music Roxy Liquigan, the Coachella experience has been transformative for the group as they move forward.
“The biggest impact is confidence and perspective. It showed them firsthand that their artistry can stand on the world stage,” he told The STAR in an interview.
“It also deepened their sense of responsibility, not just as performers, but as representatives of Filipino talent and culture. More than anything, it affirmed that their journey is just beginning.”
Liquigan noted that stepping onto a global platform also came with challenges, particularly in bearing the weight and pressure of representing the Philippines.
“The biggest challenge was the weight of expectation, both from representing the Philippines and stepping into a global stage where the standards are incredibly high. There’s also the pressure of making sure everything translates, not just the music, but the identity and energy of BINI,” he said.
Despite this, he stressed that the group’s growth was evident during their Coachella gig.
“The most rewarding part is seeing it all come together in real time. Watching the girls own the stage, hearing the crowd respond, and knowing that what started as a dream in the Philippines is now being felt by a global audience,” he said.
ABS-CBN corporate communications head Kane Choa echoed the sentiment, underscoring both the milestone and what lies ahead for the girl group.
“We’re so proud of BINI and their Coachella performance. We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support, especially the Blooms. Coachella is one of the biggest global stages, and for BINI to represent the Philippines is a big achievement and a proud moment for all Filipinos,” he said.
He, likewise, pointed out that the journey to this point was made possible through years of groundwork.
“We remember their humble beginnings and early years when the group was launched, and they went around introducing themselves to the public. It’s years of hard work, discipline, and belief in their talent. What the world witnessed on that stage was the result of all the hard work, passion and love,” he said.
Choa noted that the milestone was not achieved by the group alone.
“You could feel the pride of Filipino fans everywhere. The world witnessed the Filipino talent through BINI and that made it special.”
Choa also credited the group’s fanbase — known as BLOOMs — for helping bring BINI to the global stage.
“We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support, especially the Blooms. Coachella is one of the biggest global stages, and for BINI to represent the Philippines is a big achievement and a proud moment for all Filipinos,” he said.
“To BLOOMs around the world, maraming salamat. Thank you for the love and support. You all helped bring BINI to the global stage, and make every Filipino proud,” he said.
“To BLOOMs worldwide, this moment belongs to you as much as it belongs to BINI. Your support, belief and constant presence made this possible. You've been part of every step of this journey,” Liquigan also addressed BINI's fanbase.
He continued, “As for what's next, this is just the beginning of a bigger global path. More international stages, more music and more opportunities to share who BINI is with the world. The direction is clear, keep growing, keep evolving and keep bringing Filipino pop to the global conversation,” he ended.
