Katya Santos engaged to non-showbiz boyfriend

MANILA, Philippines — Former sexy star Katya Santos is now engaged with to her non-showbiz boyfriend Paolo Pilar. 

In his Instagram account, Paolo posted photos of the proposal held in Lake Ashi in Japan. 

"20 years ago I met a wonderful woman named Katrina, in the beautiful island of Boracay," Paolo wrote.

"Today in 2024, I finally asked her to be my wife with our families, friends, and the majestic Fuji-San as witnesses," he added.

Paolo vowed to love Katya for the rest of their lives. 

"I have loved you for 20 years and would continue to do so until my last breath. To forever, my Pungay!" he said. 

Celebrities Melissa Ricks and Marvin Agustin, Maui Taylor, Chariz Solomon and Karel Marquez congratulated the couple in the comments section. 

“Congrats Pao & Katya,” Marvin commented.

Last November, Katya said on her Facebook account that she underwent In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to get pregnant. 

“Helloooooo guys!!!! Na miss ko kayo, sorry hindi ako masyadong active the past few months. Medyo may mga pinagdadaanan lang," she said. 

“I’m now currently doing IVF para sa hindi nakakaalam, IVF is In vitro Fertilization in short if nahihirapan ka magka baby IVF is the best option for you and yun po ang ginagawa ko ngayon,” she added.
