With all that hot mom Sunshine Cruz has been through in relationships and life, she already mastered the balance of becoming the good and bad cop in one, all in her 40s.

We got to chat with her and her Tres Marias Angel Francheska, Samantha Angeline and ate Angelina Isabele at the opening of their latest endorsement venture together, the new lifestyle center Surge Fitness.

Sunshine said that exercise is a sacred time of bonding for her family and they do various things together from yoga to aerobics. That’s why they all have amazing figures.

Here, we witnessed how beautiful and all-grown-up her three girls are already.

“Si Cheska, ito baby bunso kamukha ng tatay, pero katawan Kylie Jenner. Sixteen siya,” said she. “Si Sam pinaka-maingay, baby pa though she’s 18, very funny, every night gusto paalam sa akin. Pero doon ako nagiging magulang that it’s not always yes! Pero ito ateng ate si Angelina, calm lang, manang mana sa akin.”

The oozing attractiveness of her daughters are all thanks to her and their dad Cesar Montano, whom she has finally reached a civil relationship with for the sake of her daughters since their split almost a decade ago. It is no surprise that the three girls have many suitors.

“Sakin ayoko nagkikita sila sa labas, that’s a no-no!” said Sunshine. But then, Cheska chimed in, “Bawal pa po boyfriend, di pa po ako 18! MU lang po, hahahaha!” MU means malabong usapan or is tantamount to a fling.

Sunshine shared she strives to be involved in her daughters’ happenings, especially now that they are in their teens. “Our communication has been very open ever since because our deal noong nahiwalay ako, open sila sakin kaysa sa kaibigan nila. As a parent, we only want the best for them,” she added.

“Mas gusto ko totoo sila sa akin, ayoko lang masira yung tiwala na binigay ko sa kanila.”

Angelina, Sam and Cheska are now slowly introducing themselves in the world their parents move in, which is entertainment, and Sunshine takes pride that at an early stage in their careers, the social media engagements of her daughters beat hers so much more. Sunshine doesn’t mind that they may one day surpass her accolades and popularity in showbiz.

“Sinasabi ko sa kanila, anak naman post niyo naman sa Instagram ang photos ni mommy para dumami likes ko, hahaha,” she said. “And I’m proud of my kids na lumaking hindi lang matatalino at mababait, magaganda pa! May pinagmanahan talaga!”

It is always a festive mood at home with her Tres Marias and their openness is well appreciated by Sunshine. In fact, there are moments when it’s Sunshine who says that she wants to bail out and have some time alone.

“Ako na nga nag-give up pag sobrang ingay nagpapaalam na ako na doon na muna ako sa kwarto pero pag wala naman sila na-miss ko naman sila kasi ang tahi-tahimik,” she said.

Recently, her daughters have been spotted often with their half-brother Diego Loyzaga, which is a blessing for Sunshine since Diego is a protective kuya to the three girls.

“We always hope for the best for him as long as he’s happy,” she said. “Napaka-bait na bata kaya mahal na mahal namin siya, the best, spoiled mga bata, minsan nga ako pa nagsasabi na anak huwag niyo pagastosin ng pagastosin si Kuya Diego, dapat share kayo pag lumalabas.”

The girls then said, “We’re super close, binu-bully lagi si Diego, he’s our victim all the time. He always makes jokes about us so we joke him back. That’s our form of making lambing like bullying each other, teasing each other.”
