Preliminary winners of 2019 Miss Asia Pacific International

MANILA,Philippines — The preliminary event of 2019 Miss Asia Pacific International with 55 beauties vying for the crown was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on Oct. 4, leading to the grand coronation last night. Winners were the following:

• Continental Queens : Chelsea Martin, New Zealand (Oceania), Lauralyn Vermeersch, Belgium (Europe), Klyza Castro, Philippines (Asia), Jessica Victoria Cianchino, Canada (Americas) and Michèle Ange Sandra Akomo Minkata, Cameroon (Africa).

• Best in National Costume (center, from left): Carolina Shuler, Brazil (second runner-up), Denisse Nicolle Ligpitan, Germany (winner) and Amanda Kristen Lee, Malaysia (first runner-up).

• Miss Congeniality (rightmost): Boy Ben Artzi of Israel, with reigning queen Sharifa Akeel.
